DecembeRadio in Concert!

Presented by WDJC 93.7 FM Christian Radio, Dove Award Winning Christian Rock Band DecembeRadio will present a free concert at the 2010 Opening Ceremonies. DecembeRadio won Best Christian Rock Album in 2006 and 2009 and will bring their high energy show to the BJCC. The concert is free to the general public. Opening Ceremonies T-Shirts!

U. S. Army Strength In Action Tour

The U.S. Army Strength in Action Zone will be setup at the BJCC for the Opening Ceremonies. The U.S. Army Strength in Action Zone is a mobile, fully interactive experience featured at events across the county, allowing participants to explore elements that give U.S. Army Soldiers a strength like no other.

Participants can experience Strength of Body, Strength of Technology, Strength of Team and the Strength to Lead with a variety of interactive fitness, educational, robotic and other technical elements. For more information, go to Strength in Action Tour web site.

Athlete Leadership Summit
Celebrate Olympic Day

Honoring Our Heroes

For the fourth consecutive year, the Alabama Sports Festival is proud to host the Honoring Our Heroes presentation at the Opening Ceremonies. Beginning in 2007, the Honoring Our Heroes presentation honored our Alabama Military serving in the Middle East. In 2008, we honored Alabama Law Enforcement Personnel. In 2009, we honored Alabama Firefighters and EMS Personnel. For 2010, we are honoring Alabama Teachers and Educational Support Professionals. Support The Foundry

Support The Foundry Rescue Mission and Recovery Center by bringing a non-perishable food item, toiletries or cleaning supplies to the 2010 Alabama Sports Festival Opening Ceremonies.
